What do i tell the people that cut my hair if i want a scene hair style?

ive been trying to get a scene hair style for about a year now but when i go to the hair stylers idk what to tell them and i cant find any pics of the back of scene hair styles and they always mess it up :[ p.s. i have thin and short hair
