This is a fantastic poem my friend. What you say about the anxiety of hope is so true. You have a real talent for poetry. What I like is how you capture the old language. I also like how you make Hope itself your dialogue partner - who you are talking to. Hope is what must be conquered. I would love to read more of your poetry.
