Why do illegal aliens use the excuse of race and not illegal activity for their apprehensions?

when a majority of a people (hispanics) who constantly are caught committing crimes its no surprise they would feel singled out. hispanics committing crimes is almost second nature. the Hispanics have for the most part been directly involve in crime or have family members or friends who are criminals.the racial issue comes into play when they get caught due to not having a legitimate alibi.its a cultural thing i guess.
