What are some of the best ways to perform and record a terminal ballistic autopsy on small game?

I want to know how to properly perform terminal ballistics testing on small game. I will be shooting rabbit,dove,crow and maybe some gophers in the next coming days with a high powered .22 caliber air rifle using JSB Predaor Polymags and H & N Crow-Magnums...
