Rumors/Ideas about how to be a Top Contributor?

Ok. So I want to be a top contributor in mathematics, right? According to one rumor, you have to have 20 best answers in one category in 2 weeks. I did that, and it didn't work. I want to know more rumors and more ideas so I could try to be one. I don't want you to say anything along the lines of "A Top Contributor is someone in the Answers community who, through their participation on Answers, has shown that they are knowledgeable in a particular category. Each Answers user can be a Top Contributor in up to three categories." I want to hear things from Top contributors or people who have been TPs and lots of ideas/rumors. Thanks =)
